The pandemic ended over a year ago. And yet, many organizations in both the private and public sectors have not settled into the “new normal” of where and how we work. Many questions remain. Who needs come back into the office? How often should they come in? How should offices be designed? How much space do we need? And the answers aren’t easy. Effective delivery of the mission, policy considerations, collective bargaining negotiations, investment/divestment decisions, and of course the budget are just a few of the items that drive an organization’s decision of what the post-pandemic work world will look like.

In Washington, it feels like the federal government is all alone as it grapples with the challenges of hybrid work. However, as the “laboratories of government,” state governments face similar challenges and are charting a path forward.

FRPA, in collaboration with the National Association of State Facilities Administrators (NASFA), is pleased to host a virtual panel of diverse state representatives who will share their approaches to a post-pandemic workplace.

This program will be a virtual member-only event.

Moderator:

  • Keith Cunningham, Assistant Director, Government Accountability Office

Panelists:

  • Claire Claytor, Director of Workplace Strategy & Interiors, Tennessee Department of General Services
  • Frank Smith, Deputy Director, Georgia State Properties Commission
